Handmade Clutch

I thank whoever created Etsy.com for all the crafty goodies that we get to browse and buy online. And I am amazed at how talented and creative some people are. Here's a fellow Canadian from Halifax making simple yet elegant fabric clutches:

Hermes - Constance Belt

This is an oldie but a goodie and one that will never ever go out of style:

Thank goodness I stole borrowed my sister's. I We plan to pass it on some day as it is definitely an heirloom piece.

Hermes - Constance Reversible Belt

St. Patrick's Day

I am drawn to incredibly vibrant colours, especially for spring and summer, and these amazing kelly green dresses are just the perfect eye candy for St. Patrick's Day:

Forever21 - Pleat Pintucked Silk Dress (CAD29.80) ** NOTE: This is 100% silk! **

Halston Heritage - Split-front jersey dress (CAD455.00)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Kate Spade - Lauralee

I don't particularly like Kate Spade bags because they are too bright, plain and Martha Stewart-ish but I came across a picture of Kate Spade's Garden Grove Lauralee and I instantly fell in love with it (apologies for the poor photo quality - I took a picture of it off the computer screen):

And it's a shoulder bag! But the problem is that I can't find it anywhere. So either I'm too late or too early but whatever the case, I'm on the hunt for it. There are, however, these other Lauralees that are available on http://www.katespade.com:

But these are a bit on the blah side for me (even with the quilted look and the sequins). I guess I'll have to add this one to my long wish list!

Mossimo for Target - Spring 2010

Mossimo for Target collection hit the stores in early March and I am dying to get my hands on a pair of these cork wedges:

Women's Mossimo Supply Co. Wakana Strappy Wedge Sandles

For USD19.99, you simply can't go wrong. Perhaps a quick trip across the border is in order!

Cuffs Galore

Cuff bracelets are making a big comeback this summer and that's delightful news because a bold, stylish cuff is the only thing you need to dress-up a simple outfit. I am currently in love with these:

Find these and other great alternatives at: http://www.charmandchain.com.

Temperley London - Belt

Ah, Temperley London. How I love thee.

If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd splurge on Temperley London. I won't spoil you and post all the goodies I've seen lately but instead ration out each item so we can all admire the beauty and delicate elegance that underlies each piece. Let's start off with this:
A blend of practicality and design: Temperley London - Mini Trapeze Belt (CAD320.00).

Princesse Tam Tam

One of my pitstops while in Paris this April will be Princesse Tam Tam, and lemme tell ya, I can't wait to get my hands on their spring-summer collection:

Seductive and sensual lingerie that caters to the girly, youthful side in all of us. I especially love the new mini-bustier - wouldn't mind having these show through a sheer tank top!

Ports 1961

Understated elegance:

I'd love to pair it with nude-coloured pumps for a day look or sparkly, soft gold strappy heels for an evening look.

LOQUITA

I love silk scarves. There's something romantic and soft about a loose, flowy scarf and it makes one heck of an accessory without looking like you're trying too hard. I just recently discovered LOQUITA when I stumbled across this particular scarf:

How to wear it? Just throw it over anything and the vibrant colour will instantly draw attention. Check out this lovely gal:

LOQUITA - Shackles & Chain Scarf (USD268.00)

RichRocks

If you are ever near Galeries Lafayette in Paris, search for a stand that is near the entrance on the side of Boulevard Haussmann and you might see a lady that sells one-of-a-kind, beautiful costume jewellery pieces for 20 - 40 euros. Stop and browse the goodies she has on sale because you'll walk away with one or two pieces that are absolutely gorgeous. But for those of us who aren't so lucky to be in Paris now or in the near future, here's a good alternative if you're sick of cheap, Forever21-ish jewellery and are in search of something special yet still affordable:

Forget Me Knot

A sweet gift for a sweet friend:

Kiel Mead. A string tied around your finger (or worn around your neck) in celebration of remembrance. The master mold was crafted from an actual tied piece of string.

Bionda Castana

Wowza. These shoes are made to turn heads:

Bionda Castana - Twisted leather high-heel sandal (EUR455.00)

Adam - Beaded Bib

Who would've thought a bib could be so fashionable?

Bath Wine Holder

The idea of relaxing in the tub just got so much better with this:

The Limpet bath-time drinks holder (GBP9.95) grips to the bathroom tiles and comes in white, pink and blue. I'd substitute a glass of wine with a beer bottle occasionally. Drink and bathe responsibly!

Jigsaw Puzzle

I like the idea of multi-functional furniture. This one is just so darn cute - each wooden stool can be combined for a variety of uses. One puzzle stool makes a seat, two stools make a makeshift end table and more linked together make enough space to create a larger table or bench of any length.

Jigsaw Puzzle Stool (USD195.00 - 349.00)

Equestrian Blazer

This isn't my style but I quite fancy this blazer:

I think I love the puffed sleeves the most.

Smythe - Wool equestrian blazer (CAD630.00)

Lovely Shoulder Bags

I'd like to add these two bags to my shoulder bag collection (which, at the moment, is non-existent):

Tory Burch - Telvin mini leather bag (350.00)

Marc Jacobs - New York rocker bag (595.00)

I'm such a sucker for gold chain straps.

Colourful Ruffles

Nothing says spring like a punch of bright, colourful and playful items like these:

Milly Ruffle Jacket (USD416.00)
Une carafe d'eau, s'il vous plait:

Bedside water carafe never looked prettier.

Elva Fields

I want, I want, I want!!!

But I can't get because all of them are sold out.

Sulk with me and go browse online at: http://shop.elvafields.com.

J. Crew Jewels

I like the idea of mixing formal with informal. I once saw a young European girl dressed in dark denim with a simple ivory-coloured top and a beautiful three-strand pearl bracelet. Subtle yet striking. It definitely caught my attention. I am tempted to purchase this to try and replicate that image:

J. Crew - Twisted Triple-Strand Pearl Bracelet (USD150.00)

And these earrings are just plain fun ... reminds me of fireworks!

J. Crew -
Crystal Devote Earrings (USD55.00)

Drap - Heart Silver Clutch

How cute is this?

I'd say very.

Drap Silver Clutch (155 pounds)
